Mrs. Saleha Haleem has been a resident of USA since 1976. She is a housewife, raised 4 children, 3 of them are physicians, and 1 has a doctorate in psychology. She is a social activist, and has done volunteer work for several organizations including March of Dime, American Cancer Society etc. Her husband is a retired urologist.

Mrs. Haleem joined the MCC Board in January 2004. She had taken responsibility as a treasurer of the organization and more recently, she has taken responsibility for recruitment of volunteers and helps in domestic violence programs. She is also participating in fundraising activities and has completed a Garage Sale project in June 2004.

Mrs. Haleem is a very active member of the local Islamic centers, where she participates in a variety of social activities.
