MCC for Human Services currently offers the following services to underserved
communities in DFW Metroplex. We provide medical, Mental health, Dental and
Social Services to make them available to those without traditional coverage or
have limited access to care.
Al-Shifa Medical Clinic
First charitable muslim medical clinic established in Texas to treat the
underserved communities.We provide telehealth options, prescriptions and offer
vouchers for low-cost lab testing through Quest Laboratories.
Tahira Begum Dental Clinic
The Clinic was opened after a generous equipment donation from a retired dentist
Dr. Roach. The Tahira Begum Trust assumed financial responsibility for all
operational expenses. The dental clinic provides general dentistry services,
including dental checkups, x-ray, cleaning, filling, and extractions.
Mental Health / Counseling
Our counseling clinic provides free and low-cost counseling for depression,
anxiety, and the effects of trauma and family violence. We specialize in
counseling for marriage and divorce, parenting, and culturally-specific family
system issues
Medical Diagnostic Services- Lab work at discounted rates
Refer to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth or a local specialist physician.
Dental Services
Mental Health Services- Board certified Psychiatrist.
Individual and Family counselling services, marriage and parenting counselling,
Domestic Violence Counselling and Support Groups
Clinic also offers assistant with Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, Foodstamps
Applications.
