MCC Participated with other area agencies supporting Afghan Refugee Community on January 15, 2025

MCC-HS had the pleasure of participate in the event where government agencies and nonprofits came together to support the Afghan community. Among other organizations, such as the Department of State, Department of State of Coordinator for Afghan Relocations Efforts (SCA/CARE), DHS Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman, HUD (U.S Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, National Visa Center, Office of Refugee Resettlement, Afghan Unity, Dallas Habitat for Humanity, ICNA, North Texas Food Bank, Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County, World Relief participated and give resources. We had the opportunity to share information about the MCC-HS services, medical, social services, and counseling with the large group of the Afghan population who attended the event.
